The National Fireworks
Championships at Plymouth was the first regular show to feature exclusively
fireworks. In addition to the Final there are now regional heats to make the
title more representative of the nations' pyrotechnic skills. |

The Westcountry Balloon
Fiesta & Day at the Races is an August Bank Holiday event raising money for
charities attracting up to 60 balloons each year |

The annual Goose Fair in
Tavistock dates back to the early 12th century, when a Michelmas Fair held
every September 29th provided
the opportunity for business and animal trading, and was a social event for
wives and daughters. Market traders come from all over the country to sell
their wares and provide entertainment. |

truly a magical, festive experience and is an important date in Tavistock's
